Unlike merging, which plays clips one after another, mixing plays them all at once. Use it to put music under narration, lay vocals over a backing track, or add ambience to a recording. The first file is the main track and keeps its level; the rest share one volume control.

### The music is burying the voice — what should I change?

Drop the other tracks to 20–40%. Background music under narration usually sits around a third of the main level.

### How is mixing different from merging?

Merging puts clips end to end and the total length is the sum. Mixing plays them together and the total length is that of the longest one.

### Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser via WebAssembly. Files never leave your computer and are discarded when you close the page.

### Do I need to sign up or pay?

No. The site is completely free, requires no account, has no usage limits and adds no watermarks.
