## FAQ

### Does a big shift sound strange?

Yes. One to four semitones sounds most natural; past seven the result picks up an obvious electronic edge, which is great for voice effects but not for a serious transposition.

### Can I change speed without changing pitch?

Yes — use the Volume & Speed tool, where speed changes also preserve pitch.

### Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser via WebAssembly. Files never leave your computer and are discarded when you close the page.

### Do I need to sign up or pay?
