Songs showing up as Unknown Artist, missing album art, or garbled titles in your car stereo? Edit what you need and save. Upload a new image to replace the cover (it is converted to JPG/PNG and sized sensibly) or remove the cover entirely. Only the tags are rewritten — the audio stream is copied as is, so quality is untouched and saving takes seconds. MP3 files get widely compatible ID3v2.3 tags; M4A and FLAC also support covers, and OGG, OPUS and WAV support text tags.

## FAQ

### My player still shows the old info — what now?

Many players (phone music apps, Windows media library) cache song details. Remove the old file and import the new one, or refresh / rescan the library. Tags are written as ID3v2.3 for the widest compatibility.

### Why can't OGG, OPUS or WAV files get cover art?

Those formats store embedded pictures in a special way that the in-browser FFmpeg cannot write, so only text tags are edited. Convert to MP3 or M4A with the audio converter first if you need a cover.

### Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser via WebAssembly. Files never leave your computer and are discarded when you close the page.

### Do I need to sign up or pay?

No. The site is completely free, requires no account, has no usage limits and adds no watermarks.
