## FAQ

### How many images can it handle?

There is no fixed limit — images are processed one at a time rather than all held in memory at once. A few hundred phone photos is a normal load; with very large batches keep the tab in the foreground, since browsers throttle background tabs.

### Can the watermark go in a fixed spot?

Yes — any corner, the centre, or tiled across the whole image. The font size is a percentage of the image width, so the watermark looks the same relative size on large and small photos alike.

### Will transparent areas turn black when converting to JPG?

No. JPG has no alpha channel, so the tool paints a white background first and transparent areas come out white rather than black. Choose PNG or WebP to keep transparency.

### Does it hurt image quality?

Resizing uses the browser's high-quality resampling. The quality slider only affects JPG and WebP; the 85% default balances size against quality, and you can push it above 95% when quality matters most. PNG is lossless and has no quality setting.
