Yes. In the slider the second image is stretched to the first one's frame; side-by-side and stacked exports scale them to a common height or width.

It is composed at the original resolution and saved as PNG, with no extra compression.

No. Everything runs locally in your browser with no network upload, and is discarded when you close the page.
