Copy one half of a photo onto the other, flipped, and you get a perfectly symmetrical picture — great for architecture and reflection compositions, playful symmetrical faces, backgrounds and design assets. Mirror left to right, right to left, top to bottom or bottom to top, and move the mirror line wherever you like; four-way symmetry mirrors both ways at once. Kaleidoscope mode takes a wedge from the centre of the image and repeats it around a circle with alternating flips, giving 4 to 24 segments — rotate and zoom the source for completely different patterns.

### How do I make a symmetrical face?

Use a straight-on portrait, choose Mirror left onto right (or right onto left) and move the mirror line to the middle of the nose.
