Turn an ordinary photo into an oil painting. The tool uses a Kuwahara filter: every pixel takes the average colour of whichever of its four surrounding regions is most uniform, so flat areas become patches of colour while outlines stay crisp — just like paint laid down stroke by stroke. Two passes, small strokes then larger ones, give a more natural look. Brush size scales with the image, so the preview matches the full-size result; colour richness makes hues more paint-like, and a subtle canvas texture can be added. Great for landscapes, flowers, pets and portraits, or for wall art and avatars.
