You need to put your organisation's seal on an electronic document, but all you have is a scan of a stamped page: pasting a screenshot brings a white box along with it. This tool separates the ink by channel difference — redness is R minus whichever of G and B is larger — which holds up far better than hue matching on scans that have yellowed or phone photos that lean warm. What comes out is a transparent PNG that can be flattened to a standard seal red, cleared of paper texture and stray specks, and trimmed to the stamp itself. Everything runs locally; only process seals you or your organisation are entitled to use.

3. Tune the pick-up threshold and speck removal; the checkerboard in the preview is transparency

## FAQ

### The edges come out fuzzy — what should I change?

Raise the pick-up threshold so only the strongest ink is kept, then lower the edge transition. The source matters most: scan at 300 DPI in colour, and with a phone photo avoid glare and shadows.

### The seal overlaps text — will the text come out too?

Black text has very low redness and is not picked up at the default threshold. Where the ink covered a stroke you will see a gap, because that information is gone from the original image and no tool can bring it back.

### Can I use this to remove a seal from a document?

No, this tool only extracts. Erasing a seal from a stamped document changes what the document shows and lends itself to forgery, so that is deliberately not built.

### How do I stamp the PNG onto a document?

In Word, insert the picture and set it to float in front of the text; Pages and WPS work the same way. For PDFs, use the PDF signing tool on this site to place it at the position and size you want.
