Type a formula and get the graph. Plot any number of y=f(x) curves together, parametric curves x(t)/y(t) and polar curves r(θ), or paste data points for a scatter plot with least-squares fitting. Drag to pan, scroll to zoom, and export the picture as PNG or SVG for homework, slides or a paper.

## How to use

1. Type a formula such as sin(x), x^2-2x or 1/x — the graph updates as you type
2. Add more curves with “+ Function / Parametric / Polar / Data points”, each with its own color and visibility
3. Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom, and use “Fit y-axis” to pick a sensible vertical range
4. Click “Export PNG” or “Export SVG” to save the picture

## Features

- Common functions sin/cos/tan/ln/lg/sqrt/abs/exp and constants pi, e, φ
- Textbook syntax: implicit multiplication (2x, 3(x+1)), powers with ^ and factorial with !
- Overlay several curves, including parametric and polar ones
- Asymptotes of tan(x) and 1/x are detected so no fake vertical lines are drawn
- Paste data points for a scatter plot with linear, quadratic or cubic fitting and R²
- Hover to read the value of every curve at that x
- π-based ticks, equal-aspect axes, PNG bitmap or SVG vector export
- Overlay the derivative or second derivative of any curve with one click and compare it with the original
- Table of values: sample the current x range and read every curve off the table, then copy it or download a CSV
- A built-in formula keypad puts π, ^, √ and sin/cos/tan one tap away on a phone
- Built-in gallery: trig functions, the normal distribution, heart and rose curves, the butterfly curve, Lissajous figures and more, one click away
- The whole graph fits in a link you can share, and your last graph is restored automatically next time

## FAQ

### How do I write a formula?

Just like in a textbook: ^ for powers (x^2), sqrt(x) for roots, abs(x) for absolute value, ln(x) for natural log, lg(x) or log(x) for base 10 and log(x, b) for any base. The multiplication sign can be dropped: 2x, 3(x+1), 2sin(x).

### Can I plot several functions at once?

Yes. Click “+ Function” for as many curves as you need. Each one has its own color and can be hidden or removed, which makes comparing y=x² with y=2x easy.

### How do I plot parametric or polar curves?

Click “+ Parametric” and fill in x(t) and y(t), or “+ Polar” and fill in r(θ), then set the parameter range (you can write 2pi). Curves like r=1-sin(θ) or the spiral r=θ work out of the box.

### Why is my tan(x) graph broken into pieces?

That is correct behaviour. tan(x) and 1/x go to infinity at their asymptotes, so the curve is split there instead of drawing a vertical line that does not exist.

### Can I plot measured data and fit a curve?

Yes. Click “+ Data points”, paste one point per line (for example 1, 2.5), choose dots or a connecting line, then pick a linear, quadratic or cubic fit. The fitted equation and R² are shown.

### Can I export the graph?

Yes — PNG at 2× resolution for Word and slides, or SVG vector output that stays sharp at any size for papers and posters.

### How do I type π, √ or sin on a phone?

Tap a formula field and a keypad appears underneath with x, π, e, ^, x², brackets, √, absolute value and sin/cos/tan/ln/lg. Each key is inserted at the cursor, and function keys add the closing bracket and put the cursor inside it.

### Can it plot the derivative?

Yes. Click “d/dx” next to a function and its derivative is inserted right below it (click again for the second derivative). It is computed numerically and drawn on the same axes, which makes monotonicity, turning points and inflections easy to see.

### Can I get a table of values?

Open “Table of values” under the graph. It samples the current x range evenly and lists the value of every y=f(x) curve; choose how many rows you want, then copy the table into Excel or download it as CSV.

### How do I draw a heart curve or a rose curve?

Use the gallery below the graph: heart curve, rose curve, Archimedean spiral, butterfly curve, Lissajous figures, astroid and cycloid are one click away, and you can keep editing the formulas afterwards.

### How do I send my graph to someone?

Click “Copy link” in the toolbar. Every curve and the current view are encoded in the link itself, so whoever opens it sees the same graph — nothing passes through a server.

### Will I lose my graph when I close the page?

No. Your graph is saved in this browser automatically and restored the next time you open the page.

### Is anything uploaded?

No. Parsing, plotting and exporting all happen inside your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
