Raffles, classroom cold-calls, team splits, presentation order — paste a list with one name per line and you're done. Draw mode picks one or more winners with a rolling animation; turn on "remove winners" to run multiple rounds without repeats, with a history of every round. Group mode splits the list into a set number of groups or groups of a given size, with sizes differing by at most one. Shuffle mode randomizes the whole list. All randomness uses the browser's cryptographically secure generator and a Fisher–Yates shuffle, so everyone has exactly the same chance, and your list never leaves your device.

## FAQ

### Is the draw truly fair?

Yes. It uses the browser's cryptographically secure crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling to avoid modulo bias, plus a Fisher–Yates shuffle, so every entry has exactly the same probability and results can't be predicted or manipulated.

### How do I run several rounds without repeat winners?

Tick "Remove winners from the pool". Winners are excluded from later rounds, the page shows how many remain, and each round is recorded in the history. Click Reset pool to start over.

### What if the list doesn't divide evenly into groups?

The list is shuffled and dealt round-robin, so group sizes differ by at most one. For example, 10 people in 3 groups gives 4, 3 and 3; groups of 4 also yields 3 balanced groups.

### Is my list uploaded?

No. The list is processed only in your browser, never sent to a server, and discarded when you close the page. The tool is free and needs no account.
