Stop fighting with word-processor formatting. Fill in each section on the left and see a typeset A4 resume on the right. Sections cover basics with an optional photo, summary, experience, education, skills, projects, certificates and awards, languages, plus any custom section you need — and both sections and their entries can be moved up or down, hidden or deleted. Lines that start with “- ” become bullet points automatically. Choose from Classic, Two-column sidebar, Modern and Compact templates, then tune the accent color, font and font size. The preview marks page breaks with a dashed line and counts pages, so it is easy to keep a one-page resume. Click “Print / Save as PDF” for a crisp, text-selectable PDF. Everything autosaves in your browser, and you can export or import the open JSON Resume format.

## FAQ

### How do I download my resume as a PDF?

Click “Print / Save as PDF” and pick “Save as PDF” as the destination in the print dialog. Under More settings, turn off “Headers and footers” and turn on “Background graphics” so accent colors and the sidebar background are kept. The result is a vector PDF whose text applicant tracking systems can read.

### My resume runs onto a second page — what can I do?

The dashed red line in the preview shows exactly where the page breaks, and the page count is shown above it. Switch to the Compact template, reduce the font size by half a point, hide less relevant sections or cut bullet points. One page is usually best for early-career roles.

### What is JSON Resume and can I import from other tools?

JSON Resume (jsonresume.org) is an open, standard format for resume data. Exports from this tool follow it — basics, work, education, skills, projects, certificates and languages — and also embed this tool’s full settings for a lossless round trip. You can import JSON Resume files from other tools too; volunteering and interests become custom sections.

### Is my personal information safe?

Yes. Your resume lives only in this browser’s local storage, and layout and PDF output happen locally — nothing is uploaded and no account is needed. Export a JSON backup before switching devices, and use “Clear” to remove your data on a shared computer.
