Paste your script and read it like a pro while recording videos, streaming, presenting or giving a speech. Scrolling speed is set in words per minute (Chinese, Japanese and Korean count per character); the tool estimates the total reading time from your script and shows time read and remaining, so the whole script scrolls by in exactly that time. Adjust font size, line height, side margins, alignment and four color schemes, and use the reading line to mark the row you should be reading — its height on screen is adjustable. For beam-splitter teleprompter glass, turn on horizontal mirroring (and vertical flip if your device is upside down) so the reflection reads correctly. ### What speed should I use?

Conversational English is usually 130–160 words per minute, and news reading about 160–180; slow, deliberate speeches can sit around 110–130. For Chinese, 200–260 characters per minute is typical. The default is 140 WPM for English and 220 characters per minute for Chinese — read a paragraph to test, then adjust in steps of 10 with the Left/Right keys or the Slower/Faster buttons.

### How do I use it with teleprompter glass (a beam splitter)?

Lay your tablet or phone flat under the glass and turn on Mirror horizontally so the reflection reads the right way round; if the device sits upside down, also turn on Flip vertically. White or yellow text on black reflects most clearly — and turn your screen brightness all the way up.

### Can I control it with a presentation clicker or remote?

Yes. Most clickers send Page Up/Page Down or arrow keys: here Page Up/Page Down nudge the text by three lines, Up/Down by one line and Left/Right change the speed, while the “blank screen” key (B or period) plays or pauses. A Bluetooth keyboard works too — Space to play or pause, Home to jump back to the top and F for full screen.

Your script and settings are stored in your browser’s local storage, so they are still there next time — no account needed and nothing is uploaded. To use another device, simply copy the script across.
