## FAQ

### Why does my recording have no sound?

Tick "Share audio" in the browser's share dialog — sharing a tab in Chrome or Edge is the most reliable. System audio for the whole screen is only available on Windows; on macOS, share a tab instead or turn on the microphone for narration.

### Does it work on phones? Is there a time limit?

Mobile browsers (iOS / Android) do not expose screen capture to web pages, so please use a recent desktop Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. There is no hard time limit — only your computer's memory — but we suggest takes under 30 minutes. MP4 conversion runs in the browser and takes about 1–3 minutes per minute of 1080p video.

### Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser via WebAssembly. Files never leave your computer and are discarded when you close the page.

### Do I need to sign up or pay?

No. The site is completely free, requires no account, has no usage limits and adds no watermarks.
