FAQ

Which DPI should I use?
150 DPI is fine for screens; use 300 DPI for printing or cropping; use 72 DPI for the smallest files.
JPG or PNG?
Use JPG for scans and photos (smaller files); use PNG for text, line art and charts (sharper, no compression artifacts).
The content is a small block in the middle of the page — can I drop the blank margins?
Yes. Tick auto-crop and the tool finds the content area pixel by pixel and trims the surrounding white space, with an adjustable margin. For multi-page files, choose the shared crop to use the union of every page’s content area so all images are the same size; fully blank pages are left uncropped.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser via WebAssembly. Files never leave your computer and are discarded when you close the page.
Do I need to sign up or pay?
No. The site is completely free, requires no account, has no usage limits and adds no watermarks.
