Can XMind open the exported .xmind file?

All of it is written to the exported .xmind and shows up in XMind, and it is kept when importing XMind files. Shift-select several adjacent siblings and press Ctrl+B to get one group boundary around all of them, matching XMind multi-node boundaries.

Can I style relationship lines?

Yes. Right-click a relationship to switch between solid and dashed, pick a color and choose one, two or no arrowheads; double-click to edit its label. The styles survive the XMind export.

Can I go back to an earlier version?

Besides Ctrl+Z, "File → Version snapshots" lets you save the current version manually, and a snapshot is taken automatically before an import overwrites the map. Snapshots are stored only in your browser.
