🎚️Compress Image to a Specific Size - Reduce Photos to 100KB / 200KB Online

Application forms and exam portals often insist on photos "no larger than 200KB" or "between 20KB and 50KB". Enter the target size and the tool finds the best quality that fits: it first lowers compression quality at full size and only shrinks the dimensions when that is not enough, so the result stays as sharp as possible. Works in batches, and each file name records the final size. Everything runs locally and photos are never uploaded.

FAQ

The form says between 20KB and 50KB — what do I enter?
Set the target to 50KB. The tool picks the highest quality that stays under 50KB, so the result is usually close to that limit and well above 20KB.
Why did the dimensions get smaller?
If even the lowest acceptable quality is still too large, shrinking the image is the only way to go further. The smaller the target, the more it has to shrink.
Are my files or data uploaded?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser with no network upload, and is discarded when you close the page.
Do I need to sign up or pay?
No. The site is completely free, needs no account and has no usage limits.
