🎬GIF Editor - Delete Frames, Change Speed, Reverse, Crop and Split GIFs Online
Is your GIF too long, too slow, or do you only need a few frames? Upload it and every frame is decoded properly — transparency and frame disposal are handled, so there are no ghost trails or glitches — and shown as a thumbnail strip. Delete or duplicate any frame, drag or use the arrows to reorder, change each frame's delay in milliseconds or set them all at once, and scale overall speed from 0.25× to 4×. One click reverses the animation, makes a seamless boomerang, or drops every other frame to halve the file size. You can also crop to a pixel region, shrink the output width and choose to loop forever, play once or play a set number of times. The preview plays your edits live; when you are happy, re-encode a GIF or export every frame as PNG (with a JSON of frame delays) in a zip.

FAQ
- Why is the exported speed slightly different?
- GIF delays are stored in 10 ms steps, and browsers play any delay under 20 ms as 100 ms. The editor rounds delays to 10 ms with a 20 ms minimum so the animation plays at the same speed in every browser.
- How can I make my GIF smaller?
- Drop every other frame (delays are merged so the speed stays the same), reduce the output width, or crop away unneeded areas — these three have the biggest impact on file size.
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. Everything runs locally in your browser via WebAssembly. Files never leave your computer and are discarded when you close the page.
- Do I need to sign up or pay?
- No. The site is completely free, requires no account, has no usage limits and adds no watermarks.
