➰Seamless Audio Loop Maker - Find Loop Points & Extend Music

Game soundtracks, video backgrounds, stream “starting soon” music and drum samples all need a loop that joins without an audible seam. This tool detects the tempo and beats, finds the repeat period from the waveform’s self-similarity, aligns the start to a beat, refines the loop length to the exact sample with normalised cross-correlation across the seam, and snaps to rising zero crossings. You get several candidates labelled with beats or bars, similarity and seam match; click one to use it. You can also drag a region on the waveform, drag either handle, or nudge the start and end by 10 ms, 1 ms or a single sample, and snap to zero crossings or the nearest beat. A seam close-up puts the end of the loop next to its start so you can see whether the waveform is continuous. Add an equal-power or linear crossfade to remove clicks, and preview with Web Audio looping, including a mode that starts two seconds before the seam. Export a single loop for samplers and game engines, repeat it N times, or extend to a target length with the intro and ending kept and a fade-out. WAV files include a standard smpl loop chunk that Kontakt, Sampler, Logic, Renoise, FL Studio, Unity and FMOD read; MP3 export is available too. Everything runs in your browser; your audio is never uploaded.

How to use Seamless Loop Maker

  1. 1Choose an audio file; beats are detected and loop candidates are suggested
  2. 2Pick a candidate or drag and nudge the loop points, set a crossfade and listen to the seam
  3. 3Choose a single loop, N repeats or a target length and export WAV or MP3

FAQ

What if the automatic loop points aren’t right?
Try the other candidates first: the tool lists different lengths such as 1, 2 and 4 bars as well as longer repeats. You can change the shortest and longest loop length and search again, or keep the current start and only search for the length. Then check the seam close-up, nudge if needed and add a short crossfade; that usually makes the seam inaudible.
What are smpl loop points for?
The smpl chunk is the standard way a WAV file stores loop start and end points. Samplers such as Kontakt, Logic Sampler, EXS24 and Renoise, plus many game engines and audio middleware, read it and jump back to the start automatically, so you don’t have to set the loop by hand. For a single-loop export, the loop covers the whole file.
Why is WAV recommended over MP3?
MP3 encoding adds tens of milliseconds of encoder delay and padding, which shows up as a tiny gap at the seam, so it can’t loop sample-accurately, and MP3 can’t carry smpl loop points. Use WAV when the loop must be truly seamless; MP3 is fine for extended versions of a track.
Is my audio uploaded?
No. Decoding, beat detection, loop search, crossfading and WAV encoding all happen in your browser. MP3 export uses a local copy of FFmpeg, so the file never leaves your device.
