✒️Image to SVG Converter - Vectorize PNG & JPG Online
SVG vectors are made of paths, so they stay sharp at any size — ideal for logos, icons, print, laser cutting and embroidery. This tool reduces the image to a chosen number of colours, then traces smooth paths along the edges of each colour region to produce a standard SVG. Line art turns sketches and signatures into clean two-colour vectors; Logo / icon keeps sharp corners; Illustration and Photo use more colours with pre-smoothing. Adjust the colour count, remove small specks, smooth the curves or drop the white background for a transparent SVG. A side-by-side preview updates live, and tracing runs in a background thread so the page stays responsive.

FAQ
- Which images convert best?
- Images with few colours and clear edges — logos, icons, flat illustrations, signatures and line drawings. Photos work too but create many paths, large files and a posterised look.
- Can I edit the SVG in Illustrator or Figma?
- Yes. The output is standard SVG with one path per colour region, so you can open it in Illustrator, Figma or Inkscape to recolour and edit nodes.
- What about very large images?
- For speed, images longer than 1600 px are scaled down before tracing; the SVG keeps the original dimensions, which rarely matters for vectors.
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. Everything runs locally in your browser with no network upload, and is discarded when you close the page.
