📐Resize Video Online - Change Resolution and Aspect Ratio (9:16, 1:1, 4:5)
Want to post landscape footage to TikTok, YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels without the sides getting chopped off? Choose a target aspect ratio (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9, 4:3, 3:4) and resolution (4K, 2K, 1080p, 720p, 480p, 360p or a custom width × height). When the ratio changes you decide how to fill the frame: a blurred, zoomed copy of the video as the background (the classic vertical-video look), solid color bars in any color, crop to fill, or stretch. A live preview shows the result as you adjust, and you can process several videos at once. Output is H.264 MP4, and AAC / MP3 audio is copied without re-encoding.

FAQ
- Which fill mode is best for landscape to portrait?
- To keep the whole picture without black bars, use Blurred background — the top and bottom are filled with a blurred, zoomed copy of the video, the look most short-video platforms use. Crop to fill makes the subject fill the screen but cuts off the sides. Solid color bars leave clean space for titles or captions.
- Does upscaling make the video sharper?
- No. Scaling 480p up to 1080p only adds pixels, not detail, and makes the file bigger. Upscale only to meet a platform's minimum resolution or to match other footage; to save space choose a lower resolution or the Small size quality.
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. Everything runs locally in your browser via WebAssembly. Files never leave your computer and are discarded when you close the page.
- Do I need to sign up or pay?
- No. The site is completely free, requires no account, has no usage limits and adds no watermarks.
