💄Portrait Retouch - Skin Smoothing, Blemish Removal Online
Give a portrait a natural, polished look right in your browser — no app to install. The tool first finds each face and its five landmarks (eyes, nose tip and mouth corners) with the YuNet model, samples the person’s own skin tone from the cheeks and builds a mask that covers skin only, keeping eyes and lips out of it. Smoothing uses an edge-preserving guided filter: blemishes, uneven patches and rough flat areas are softened while brows, eyes and strands of hair stay sharp, and a texture control adds fine pore detail back so skin never looks plastic. Brighten lifts the skin tone, and Even tone removes yellowness and dullness. When landmarks are reliable you can also whiten teeth, brighten eyes, and use landmark-guided liquify for a subtle slimmer face and larger eyes. With the blemish brush, click a spot and the tool patches it with the best-matching nearby skin and corrects the colour. Drag the divider to compare before and after; export recomputes everything at the original resolution in a Web Worker, so the page stays responsive. Your photo never leaves your device.

FAQ
- What if no face is detected?
- You’ll see a notice, and smoothing, brightening and toning then apply to skin-coloured areas across the whole photo, while teeth, eyes and reshaping are disabled. Strong profile angles, very small or covered faces and dark lighting are harder to detect — cropping so the face is larger often helps.
- How do I keep it natural?
- Smoothing between 30 and 60 with some skin texture kept usually looks clean but real. Keep slim face and enlarge eyes below 30–40 — stronger settings can bend the face shape and nearby background lines. Dragging the divider back and forth is the easiest way to spot overdone edits.
- How does the blemish brush work?
- Switch to the blemish brush, set the brush slightly larger than the spot and click it on the preview — each click heals one spot, and you can undo the last one or clear them all. It copies the most similar nearby patch of skin and matches its brightness to the surroundings, which works best on small blemishes rather than large areas.
- Is my photo uploaded, and does it lose quality?
- Nothing is uploaded: face detection and every edit run in your browser. The preview is downscaled to stay fast, but export recomputes everything at the original resolution in a background Worker, so the output has the same dimensions as your photo — as JPG, PNG or WebP.
