📨PDF Overlay - Add a Letterhead, Background or Stamp to Every PDF Page

Reports, quotes and contracts exported from Word or other apps often need the company letterhead or background template before they go out. This tool puts a template page on every page of your document. The template can be a PDF — pick any page; it is embedded as vectors, so it stays sharp at any zoom — or a PNG (with transparency), JPG or other image. Put it behind the content for letterhead and stationery, or in front for stamps, watermarks and overlays, with adjustable opacity. Scale it to fit the page, stretch it to fill, or keep its original size centred; rotated pages are handled automatically so the template always sits upright. The classic “full letterhead with logo on page 1, slim header on the rest” is one tick away: enable a different first-page template and pick a second file. Limit the overlay to a page range if you like, and check the live preview of page 1 before saving. Everything runs in your browser with no upload.

FAQ

Why can’t I see the template when it’s behind the content?
Scanned PDFs and PDFs made from images consist of one opaque picture per page, which hides anything underneath. Use “In front of the content” instead and lower the opacity to about 20–40%.
My template PDF has several pages — which one is used?
Page 1 by default; change it under “Template page to use”. To use different pages of the same PDF for the first page and the rest, enable the first-page template, choose the same file in both slots and set a page number for each.
Is the text still selectable afterwards?
Yes. The original content stays untouched; the template is added as a separate vector object (or image), and pages are never flattened to images.
Are my files or data uploaded?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser with no network upload, and is discarded when you close the page.
