🧷PDF Poster Maker - Print a Page Across Multiple A4 Sheets
Only have an A4 printer but need an A1 poster, map, plan or display board? This tool enlarges one page of a PDF and splits it across ordinary sheets that you print and tape together. Size it by scale (for example 200%), by target width or height in millimetres, or by the number of sheets across; choose A4, A3 or Letter paper and let the tool pick the orientation that uses the fewest sheets. Neighbouring sheets can share an overlap strip of a few millimetres for easy gluing, and each sheet’s margin carries crop marks, overlap ticks and a label such as A1, A2 or B1 (letters are rows, numbers are columns). An optional first page shows an assembly guide. A live preview shows the tiles, the number of sheets and the finished size while you adjust the settings. Each sheet embeds the original page as vectors and clips out its own region, so text and lines stay sharp at any size, and rotated pages are laid out the way they read. Everything runs locally in your browser.

FAQ
- How should I print it?
- Choose “Actual size” or “100%” in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, otherwise every sheet is shrunk and the pieces won’t line up. If your printer leaves a wide unprintable border, raise the sheet margin to 6–10 mm.
- What is the overlap for, and how do I assemble the sheets?
- The overlap is printed on both neighbouring sheets. Trim the margin off one sheet along the crop marks, lay it over the overlap area of its neighbour, line up the artwork and glue or tape it. The blue dashed ticks in the margin mark where the overlap starts.
- Will the enlarged poster be blurry?
- Text, lines and vector graphics stay sharp because each sheet embeds the original page as vectors. Photos and other bitmaps inside the PDF are limited by their original resolution and may look soft when enlarged a lot.
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. Layout and PDF generation happen entirely in your browser, with no upload.
