🎯Smart Crop - Batch Crop Images to 1:1, 4:5, 16:9 & More (Keeps the Subject)
When a batch of photos needs to become squares, 4:5 portraits or 16:9 banners, a plain centre crop often chops off heads or products. Smart Crop analyses each image first: it measures where the detail is (more edges usually means the subject) and uses local AI to detect faces, giving them a high weight, then slides the crop window to the position that keeps the most of the subject. Every image is handled individually, and the preview shows the crop box for the first few so you can check before exporting the whole batch. Keep the cropped pixels as they are, or scale everything to 1080 or 2048 px wide.

FAQ
- What if a crop isn't quite right?
- Smart Crop is built for fast batch work. For the odd image, crop manually with Crop Image or set the focus point by hand in Resize for Social Media.
- Will images be stretched?
- Never. The crop takes the largest area of the requested ratio from the original. With Keep cropped pixels nothing is scaled; with a fixed width the result is scaled proportionally.
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. Everything runs locally in your browser with no network upload, and is discarded when you close the page.
- Do I need to sign up or pay?
- No. The site is completely free, needs no account, has no usage limits and adds no watermark.
