🃏Online Flashcards - Spaced Repetition (SM-2) Study Cards, Anki Import

Flashcards turn what you need to learn into small question-and-answer cards, and spaced repetition decides when you see them again: cards you know well come back less and less often, while the ones you forget return quickly — so you remember more in less time. When studying, read the front and recall the answer, press Space or click to flip, then grade yourself Again, Hard, Good or Easy (or press 1–4); each button shows when the card will come back. Scheduling uses the classic SM-2 algorithm, tracking an ease factor and interval for every card. Keep several decks, turn on reverse cards to practise back-to-front as well, and use line breaks, **bold**, *italic* and `code` on cards. Paste existing word lists as “front<Tab>back” lines — the plain-text format Anki exports — or quoted CSV. The Stats tab shows learned and mature cards, today’s reviews and a 7-day due forecast.

FAQ

How does SM-2 schedule reviews?
Each card has an ease factor starting at 2.5. After the first correct answer it comes back in 1 day, then 6 days, and after that each interval is roughly the previous one times the ease factor. Hard grows the interval more slowly and lowers the ease; Easy stretches it and raises the ease; Again resets the streak and shows the card again in about 10 minutes. Familiar cards fade into the background so your time goes to the hard ones.
How do I import from Anki or a spreadsheet?
In Anki use Export → Cards in Plain Text; every line is “front<Tab>back”, so paste it or upload the file. Copying two columns from Excel or Google Sheets also gives tab-separated text. CSV works too — wrap fields containing commas or line breaks in double quotes. Lines starting with # are ignored, there’s a “First row is a header” option, and you can swap front and back in one click.
What are reverse cards?
When enabled, every card also gets a back-to-front version with its own review schedule. If the front is a Spanish word and the back its English meaning, the reverse card shows the English and asks you for the Spanish — ideal for vocabulary and terms you need both ways.
Where is my progress saved?
Cards and every card’s review history live only in your browser’s local storage — nothing is uploaded and there’s no account. Before switching devices, export a JSON backup from the Import tab (it includes scheduling) and restore it on the new device. CSV export contains just fronts and backs for use in other apps.
