🌄Background Generator - Gradient & Pattern Wallpapers
Need a desktop wallpaper, phone lock screen, slide background or social media banner? This generator has ten styles: the popular mesh gradient (large random color blobs under a Gaussian blur), linear and radial gradients, organic blobs, layered waves, low poly (a jittered grid split into triangles, shaded along a direction with random variation), a hexagon honeycomb, and tiling dots, grid and stripes. Each style lets you adjust pattern size, direction, line weight and blur, and you can lay a fine film grain over the top to give flat gradients some texture. Pick one of ten preset palettes, edit each color, or roll a harmonious random palette. Shuffle picks a new random seed — the same seed always produces the same image, so you can note it down and recreate a design. Size presets cover 1080p, 1440p and 4K desktops, MacBook, iPhone and Android phones, stories, square posts and banners for X, LinkedIn, YouTube, WeChat and Bilibili, or set a custom size up to 8192 px. Every design is generated as vector SVG, so you can export PNG, JPG or the SVG itself for further editing.

FAQ
- Can I use the wallpapers commercially?
- Yes. Every image is generated by an algorithm from a random seed and the colors you choose, with no third-party assets, so you are free to use it for wallpapers, websites, slides, posters and commercial projects.
- How do I get the same image again?
- Note the seed, style, palette and settings and enter the same values later to regenerate the identical image — or keep the SVG file and re-export it at any size whenever you like.
- Should I choose SVG or PNG?
- For a wallpaper or a social media upload, choose PNG (sharpest) or JPG (smaller file). Choose SVG if you want to keep editing in Figma or Illustrator or scale without loss. Grain and blur use SVG filters, which a few older apps may not display.
- Do I need an account? Is anything uploaded?
- No account is needed and nothing is uploaded — the tool is free, adds no watermark and generates every image locally in your browser.
